The Profurl NEX V2R is the latest generation of furling systems for flying sails such as Code 0, gennaker and screecher. The system combines speed, safety and ease of use in a compact and lightweight design.

FurlAssist Ratchet Function

The patented FurlAssist ratchet is the key innovation of the V2R. During furling, the ratchet locks automatically, allowing the furling line to be temporarily released without the sail unfurling. This provides better control and prevents accidental unfurling, especially when sailing shorthanded.
