The Seldén BBB 40 triple block with cam cleat is a versatile three-sheave block from the BBB series, fitted with high-quality stainless steel ball bearings. This block combines three sheaves with an integrated cam cleat, making it ideal as an end block in a purchase system where the line needs to be cleated immediately. With a safe working load of 450 kg and breaking strength of 900 kg, this block is suitable for mid-sized sailing yachts.

The fibreglass-reinforced polyamide cheeks provide an excellent balance between low weight and high strength. The swivel design ensures the block follows the line direction, preventing wear and guaranteeing smooth operation. The D-shackles with Ø5 mm pin allow quick attachment to the rigging. The cam cleat is specifically designed for fast cleating and releasing of lines under load.

This triple block is perfectly suited for sheet leads, cunninghams and other applications where high mechanical advantage needs to be combined with the ability to cleat the line. The three sheaves offer a mechanical advantage up to 5:1 or 6:1 when combined with other blocks in a purchase system. Suitable for lines from Ø3 to 7 mm, perfect for thin Dyneema and Spectra lines.
